Launch of Women's Health Hubs Across South Tyneside

Sexual Health Services in partnership with Family Hubs & South Tyneside Council launch a range of new Women's community clinics in South Tyneside
The new partnership approach aims to improve access to contraception and sexual health care in community settings taking clinics out to the heart of the community.
Sexual Health Services strive to ensure services are accessible across the local area and together with Family Hubs have established a range of new outreach clinics to support women to access contraceptive methods and further sexual health care and advice.
As a service we are aware of some of the challenges some women face when trying to access contraception such as transport, travel to clinics, cost of travel and the need to take time off work or school are only some of the barriers women face when accessing sexual health care.
To address these barriers to service access, we have set up a range of women's health hubs offering FREE contraception and STI screening in a location near you.
