Sexual Health Services have been awarded the GOV.UK You're Welcome': standards for improving the quality of, and access to, health and well-being services for young people. ​

South Tyneside Sexual Health supporting Pride Month 2025 in preparation for South Tyneside PRIDE in July

Our teams once again are supporting and attended this years pride events over the summer 2025.

South Tyneside Youth Health Ambassadors are a group of volunteers aged 14-17. The ambassadors have been trained to undertake inspections of health services, to offer information and advice to their peers and to run their own health campaigns

Please be advised the clinic will be closed on Friday 15th November for staff training and will reopen Monday 18th.

The local authority with the support from South Tyneside Sexual Health have organised for the Town to be lit red in support and remembrance of all the individuals across the world who have died from AIDS.
